A journey through the history of the pomegranate

Museum of Interpretation of the Pomegranate

In the Museum of Interpretation of the Pomegranate "Conseller García Antón" we want to get closer to the history and the origin of this super fruit. We tell you about the evolution of the pomegranate from its first uses to the derived products that are obtained today.

The museum is in the facilities of Vitalgrana, in Catral, an intermediate point between Elche and Vega Baja. It is in this area where most of the pomegranates of the Alicante area are located. Therefore, there is no better place for our museum!

During the tour of the museum, we like to liven up the visit with a tasting of Vitalgrana pomegranate juice right out of the factory. If you like it, you just have to wait at the end of the visit to buy any of our products in the museum shop.
